Collection 1 released
Views + Navigation Collection 1 introduces 5 plugins designed to boost productivity and optimize your formZ workflow. You can now easily section large architectural models and mechanical assemblies, move and scale underlays interactively, manage commonly used grid snaps, and much more.
Views + Navigation 1 is now available for both Windows (32 bit)
and Macintosh versions of formZ.

about formZ
Power Modeling
formZ is an extremely versatile 3D modeling and animation package
produced by auto•des•sys, Inc. It's support of both surface
and solid modeling makes it a favorite of industrial designers, architects,
landscape designers, illustrators, and other design professionals.
Features include numerous parametric entities, smooth modeling based
on the ACIS kernel, famously robust booleans, NURBS, Patches, RPC
support, integrated 2D drafting environment, and a built-in scripting
language.
Import and export
formZ imports and exports an impressive range of 3D file formats
right out of the box, making integration with other programs a snap.
Rapid Prototyping and manufacturing are supported by native solid
modeling, direct export to a wide range of 3D printers, and export
to machining applications via bulletproof, industry-standard formats
such as SAT and STEP (the latter available as an optional plugin).
Customer Support
Confused about how to proceed with an object you've never modeled
before? Not sure how a tool works? Here's another area where formZ
shines: providing solutions for individual customers with specific
needs. Arguably, auto•des•sys has the best customer support
in the software industry. Technical questions posted to the formZ
forum are typically answered by their expert staff within a few hours,
if not minutes.
